Objective: Your goal with this project is to choose a country of your choice that is significant to you and create an informational Power Point as your final project. This power point should have enough information and detail to educate someone who knows nothing about your country. Requirements: • You will have 1 partner, who will be chosen for you • A minimum of 12 slides • No paragraph form is necessary • Presentation should last 5-7 minutes • At least 1 video stream link • 8 images relating to your country • You are allowed note cards to guide you during your presentation • Have fun with it, let your imagination soar!
What's Due: 1. Proposal of country with both you and your partners name on it, also remember to sign up for a presentation time slot=> Wednesday the 13th (in class) 2. Dabble board=> Monday the 18th via Email to teachers@gmail.com by 3 pm (At least 10 bubbles and 3 images) 3. Neat Chat=> Friday the 22nd via email to teachers@gmail.com by 3 pm (Productive on topic conversation) 4. Presentations will run Monday the 25th-Wednesday the 27th
The "Driving Question": For the last slide you will have to relate the country you choose back to your own life. How does the background/culture of your chosen country relate or differ to the way you live your own life? This question will be the main focus of your project so please make sure to put a lot of thought and detail into your last slide.
Project Outcome: As an International Studies Class, this project is intended to help you explore deeper into a country of your choice. Also, this past couple of weeks we have been focusing on power point and what consist of a good presentation. As an audience you will be quizzed on facts from the information presented in the power points and evaluated on the quality of your power point presentation.
